You can create an account at verabradley.com by registering for an account; or, you can create a new account when you place an order. A verabradley.com account makes ordering safe, easy and fast. It also serves as a way to track and receive emails about your order.

Using your verabradley.com account, you can access:

  • My Wish List. Save a list of your favorite items in your own personal Wish List and email it to friends and family.
  • Order History. View important information regarding your order and the capability to track your order up to delivery, and view order history with detailed summaries for each order.
  • Faster Checkout. Your contact, billing and shipping information is saved making it easier to find and purchase your favorite products.
  • Favorite Store. Selecting a Favorite Store allows Vera Bradley to provide better customer service both online and at your local retailer. My Wish List

With a verabradley.com account, you can create a personal Wish List that maintains a list of Vera Bradley products you wish to save but not purchase immediately. “My Wish List” stores your favorite items even after you leave our site, making it easy to find and purchase your favorite items in the future. Items will remain in your Wish List until you move them to “My Collection” or remove them from your Wish List. You can access your Wish List by signing in to your account; if you do not have an account, you can register for an account here.

My Collection

With “My Collection,” you can search for, add, or remove products and styles that you currently own. The list will automatically be populated with products that you have previously ordered through verabradley.com, with the exception of orders that are marked as a gift during checkout.

Options in “My Wish List:”

  • Email your Wish List to a friend: Click “Email My Wish List” and you will be prompted to enter your friend’s name, email address and personal message.
  • Remove an item from “My Wish List:” Click “Remove” and your Wish List will be automatically updated to reflect the changes.
  • Move an item to your Collection: Click “Move to My Collection,” enter a date and event (optional), and click “Add to My Collection.”

Favorite Store

Selecting a Favorite Store allows Vera Bradley to provide better customer service both online and at your local retailer. By selecting a Favorite Store you can also receive up-to-date information about that store location, including current promotions and events. Your Favorite Store will also be notified of your selection, if you choose, making it easier for them to provide the products and services you require.

Your Favorite Store will be displayed in “My Profile,” as well as in “My Favorite Store.” Selecting a Favorite Store is optional upon signup; however, placing an order at verabradley.com will require you to select a Favorite Store prior to checkout. Your selected Favorite Store will receive credit for each order that has been associated with it; however, your order will be shipped to the address you specify during Checkout, not your Favorite Store. Shopping Bag

When shopping at verabradley.com, you can add an item or items to your Shopping Bag by clicking “Add to Shopping Bag.” Your item or items will remain in your Shopping Bag until they are purchased or removed.

You may review your order at any time by clicking “Shopping Bag” in the top right corner of the page. You may also choose to check out, modify item quantities, or cancel the order by removing items from your Bag on the Shopping Bag page. If you modify the quantity of items in your Shopping Bag, click “Update Bag ” to see the reflected change in your Bag.

Shopping Bag Options:

  • Change Quantity: Enter the quantity of an item you wish to purchase, then click “Update Bag.”
  • Remove an item from your Shopping Bag: Check “Delete” next to the item that you want to remove, then click “Update Bag.”
  • Proceed to Checkout: When you are finished shopping and are ready to purchase your item(s), click “Proceed to Checkout.”

verabradley.com only has in-stock items available for purchase online. If an item is out of stock, it will be temporarily unavailable for purchase online. Please contact your nearest retailer to inquire about in-store availability. Most items will be back in our online inventory within 7-10 business days.

Checkout

Below is a step-by-step guide to our Checkout process:

1. Verify Email
Please enter your email address. If you are a new customer and have not created an account, select “No, I do not have a password,” then click “Continue.” If you have an existing account, select “Yes, my password is:,” enter your password, and click “Continue.”

  • Your account serves as your verabradley.com account identification.
  • Your account stores information such as your billing and shipping address and serves as a convenient way to obtain important information about your order such as order confirmation, order tracking and order history.
  • The password ensures that only you have access to your account information.
  • Creating an account enables Web Customer Service to retrieve your account history and provide answers regarding previous orders.
  • Opting in to “Club Vera” allows you to receive exclusive information via email. You'll find out what's new each season, learn about exciting promotions, gift-giving ideas and much more.

2. Shipping
Next, select or add the shipping address where you would like your order sent.

  • Verify Shipping Address: From the Shipping Address drop-down menu, select the address to where you would like your order sent, or add a new shipping address. If you choose “Add a New Shipping Address,” you will be prompted to enter the new address, assign a nickname, save the address for future use, and/or mark it as your primary shipping address.
  • Gift Items: With the gift option, pricing information will be removed from the recipient's packing slip and a gift card will be enclosed. If you wish to send your item as a gift, check “This order is a gift.” You will then be prompted to enter your gift card message.
  • Shipping Method: Select a shipping method for your order and click “Continue.” All orders will be shipped via United Parcel Service (“UPS”) with the exception of APO and FPO military addresses, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, which will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service (“USPS”).

3. Select a Favorite Store
Selecting a Favorite Store allows Vera Bradley to provide better customer service both online and at your local retailer. By selecting a Favorite Store you can also receive up-to-date information about that store location, including current promotions and events. 4. Billing
Select or add the billing address associated with the form of payment you will be using.

  • If your billing address is the same as your shipping address, select “Same as Shipping” from the drop-down menu; or, select “Add a new Billing Address” from the drop-down menu, complete the necessary information, and click “Continue.”
  • If you have not previously created an account at verabradley.com, you will be prompted to create one and confirm a password.
  • For your protection, your billing address must exactly match the address on file with the bank that issued the card.
  • If you do not want to receive email or a free seasonal catalog from Vera Bradley, you may opt-out of “Club Vera.”

5. Payment
View and edit the details of your order.

  • If you have an Online Gift Certificate, enter the code in the box provided. Upon entering, the gift code will be validated.
  • As a returning buyer, verabradley.com will remember your credit card information elected to save the information during a previous order. If your credit card information does not automatically appear, select the type of credit card you would like to use and enter the card number and expiration date.
  • When you click “Place Order,” your order will be submitted for processing, your credit card will be charged (authorized only), and a verabradley.com account will be created if you did not have an existing account.
  • Additional items may not be added to your order after “Place Order” is clicked. Any additional items must be placed as a separate order.

6. Order Confirmation.
Review your order details. An order confirmation will also be emailed to you.

Excise Tax

Inbound shipments to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands may be subject to a local excise tax.

Sales Tax

It is required by state laws that we charge applicable sales tax on orders in all states, except Alaska. Sales tax will not be charged on the purchase of Online Gift Certificates; however, items paid for with Online Gift Certificates will be charged sales tax when applicable.

Emails About Your Order

You will receive one or more of the following emails after your order is placed:

  • Order Confirmation. This email confirms that we have received your order and provides you with an order number, shipping and billing information, and an order summary. Please keep this email for your records.
  • Shipment Confirmation. This email confirms that your order has shipped. The arrival time of your order depends on the shipping method selected during checkout, as well as your shipping location.
  • Backorder Notice. This email informs you that an item or items from your order is no longer available and has been removed from your order. Your credit card will not be charged.
  • Cancellation Notice. There are a few reasons why you would receive this email, including: difficulty in processing your order, inability to ship to the address provided, or duplicate order. If you receive this email, contact Web Customer Service at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation so that the problem can be addressed.
  • Return Notification. This email confirms that verabradley.com received your return and credited your original form of payment.

Changing Or Cancelling Your Order

Once you click “Place Order,” your order begins to process. You may cancel an in-process order by signing in to your account, locating your order information and selecting “Cancel Order.”

When your order is processed to our warehouse, a tracking number is created and the order may no longer be cancelled in “My Account.”

If your order has already processed or shipped, you may return items by following the Return Instructions once you receive your order. Returns may be made to our online store or your nearest Vera Bradley retailer (Find your nearest Vera Bradley retailer). Shipping Methods and Costs

Shipping methods available for an individual order and their associated costs can vary based on the following conditions:

  1. Size of the order
  2. State of destination (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.)
  3. APO or FPO military addresses

At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your order. Orders placed on verabradley.com will be delivered via UPS. Orders placed to APO or FPO military addresses, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be delivered USPS Standard. Your total shipping charges will automatically calculate during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

Generally, you will have the option to upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Next Day service) within the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii and Alaska orders may not be upgraded at this time. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order will ship within 24 hours of processing, rather than the standard 48 hours.

APO/FPO, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands
Orders shipping to an APO/FPO military address, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands may only be shipped via USPS Standard and cannot be expedited. Given the recent announcements by the United States Postal Service, orders placed after Thanksgiving cannot be assured delivery to these locations before Christmas. Alaska and Hawaii
Orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii may only be shipped UPS standard and cannot be expedited at this time. Orders placed after 9:30 a.m. EST on December 17 cannot be assured delivery by Christmas.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions

  • Orders are shipped on business days only (Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays, within the United States).
  • Orders shipping to Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands may only be shipped via USPS Standard and cannot be expedited.
  • Orders shipping to an APO/FPO military address may only be shipped via USPS Standard and cannot be expedited. Please allow 5-7 business days for the product to arrive at the U.S. military post office box. We cannot guarantee delivery times after the order is delivered to the military post office box.
  • Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii can only ship via UPS Ground at a premium rate.
  • All expedited orders require a correct street address in order for delivery to be made on time.
  • You will not incur any charges until the item ordered has been shipped to you.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking numbers are assigned to packages at our warehouse almost immediately and will appear on our website under “My Account” along with your order information.

Tracking availability may vary depending on the shipping method selected during checkout and the carrier that is delivering your order.

There are several ways to track the status of your order:

  • Check your email. The email address you provided during checkout allows us to provide information about the status of your order.
  • Visit the website. Sign In to your account to view order history, tracking information, and information about past orders at verabradley.com 24 hours a day.
  • Contact us. If you still have questions about your order, contact Web Customer Service at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation.

The status of your order is supplied by verabradley.com and applies to your order between the time you place it and the time it ships from our warehouse. Once your order leaves our warehouse, it is handled by a carrier (such as UPS or USPS) that may provide tracking information until your order is delivered. The tracking information is accessible from “Order History” in “My Account” when it becomes available.

Gift Receipt

During checkout, you may specify that your order if a gift by selecting “This order is a gift.” A gift card will be enclosed in your package and prices will not appear on the gift recipient's packing slip. You may also enter a custom gift card message immediately upon selecting the gift option. If the recipient returns or exchanges the merchandise, the pricing information will be encoded on the gift receipt. Call Web Customer Service at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation prior to returning any gift items so that we can be sure you receive an appropriate replacement gift.

Gift Packaging

Vera Bradley does not offer gift packaging services at this time. Most of the products from verabradley.com are packaged in a protective box prior to shipping.

If you wish to receive a protective box for each individual item, you must order each item separately and incur shipping charges for each order.

Redeeming an Online Gift Certificate

  • Shop verabradley.com and select items you wish to purchase.
  • When you're ready to check out, click “Proceed to Checkout” in the Shopping Bag.
  • You will be prompted to enter your Online Gift Certificate code (codes are case sensitive) on the Payment page. Please note that codes are activated and ready for use within 24 hours after you receive them.
  • When making a purchase at verabradley.com, only one Online Gift Certificate code per order will be accepted.
  • If the balance of the Online Gift Certificate is greater than the order total, the amount of the order total will be deducted from the gift certificate upon final purchase and remaining dollars will be available for future use.
  • If the balance of the Online Gift Certificate is less than the order total, the balance will be used toward the order and the Online Gift Certificate will be disabled. Payment through Visa, Mastercard or American Express is required for the outstanding balance.

Rules and Regulations for Online Gift Certificates

  • Online Gift Certificates can only be redeemed at verabradley.com.
  • Codes are activated and ready for use 24 hours after you receive them.
  • You cannot purchase an Online Gift Certificate with another Online Gift Certificate.
  • If the balance of the Online Gift Certificate is greater than the order total, the amount of the order total will be deducted from the gift certificate upon final purchase and remaining dollars will be available for future use.
  • If the balance of the Online Gift Certificate is less than the order total, the balance will be used toward the order and the Online Gift Certificate will be disabled. Payment through Visa, Mastercard or American Express is required for the outstanding balance.
  • Online Gift Certificates are non-transferable, non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
  • Lost or stolen Online Gift Certificates can only be replaced with proof of purchase.

Delivery of Your Order

Delivery of your order can take 3-8 full business days, depending on your location and the shipping method you select at checkout. Business and delivery days are Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays within the United States. Read more about delivery times and shipping options »

Allow 5-7 business days for the product to arrive at U.S. Military post office boxes. We cannot guarantee delivery time after the order is delivered to the military post office box.

Inspecting Your Order for Damage

Once your order has arrived, immediately inspect the package for potential damage that may have occurred during shipping. Carefully inspect the packaging and the contents of the package. It is normal for the box to show some wear; however, if additional damage occurred:

  • Accept the package, but make a note of the damage on the shipping receipt, sign and date it. The delivery person should also sign the slip and leave a copy for your records. Contact Web Customer Service immediately at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation. Please have your order number available when you call.
  • If there is extensive damage to the carton, refuse the order and contact Web Customer Service immediately at (888) 855-VERA. Please have your order number available when you call.

Order Cancellations

Occasionally, orders are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

  • Difficulty in processing your payment information.
  • Cannot ship to address provided.
  • A duplicate order was placed.

If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email notice that will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items.

Return Instructions for Online Orders

For your convenience, products purchased at verabradley.com may be returned with the original proof of purchase at an authorized Vera Bradley retail location or through the mail within 30 days of purchase date. The packing slip in your package will contain detailed instructions for returning an item.

Return Rules and Restrictions

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • When shipping a return, you must include the return form located on the top portion of the original packing slip. Be sure to save the middle portion for your records.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • We will not accept CODs or third-party billing for returned merchandise.
  • In the event that an item is damaged during shipping, please contact the carrier or Web Customer Service at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation.
  • You can expect a refund to the original form of payment within 7-10 days after we have received your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.
  • If you choose to return your online purchase to a Vera Bradley authorized retailer, you must present the original packing slip.

Mail Returns to our Online Store
To return products purchased at verabradley.com through the mail:

  1. Complete the top back portion of the packing slip enclosed with the original shipment.
  2. Carefully repack the merchandise in its original container, if available. Enclose the completed return form. Be sure to keep the middle portion of the packing slip for your records.
  3. Detach the return label provided on the bottom reverse side of the packing slip.
  4. Returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer and shipped via UPS or USPS. We cannot be responsible for items that we do not receive. Please do not send COD. All COD packages will be refused. Ship the return package to:

  5. All products must be unused and undamaged and returned in their original boxes (whenever possible) to ensure a full credit. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.
  6. For returns within 30 days of purchase, a credit will be issued to the original form of payment.

Returns to a Vera Bradley Retail Store
To return products purchased at verabradley.com to an authorized Vera Bradley retail store:

  1. Visit the Favorite Store printed on your packing slip, or use our Store Locator to find your nearest Vera Bradley retailer.
  2. Present the original packing slip, along with the merchandise, to a sales associate.
  3. Your retailer will return the merchandise to us on your behalf.
  4. For returns within 30 days of purchase, please allow 7-10 business days after we have received your returned product for credits to be applied to the original form of payment.

Gift Returns
Please call Web Customer Service at (888) 855-VERA during normal hours of operation before returning a gift item. Important: Gift returns processed without the assistance of Web Customer Service will credit the original form of payment.

Damaged or Defective Items

If one or more of the items you received from verabradley.com is damaged or defective, immediately return the item to our online store or to a Vera Bradley authorized retailer. Follow the return instructions on the packing slip, indicate one of the reason codes available on the packing slip, and provide comments, if necessary. You will receive an email notification when we have processed your return and issued the appropriate credit.

Credit

You can expect a refund to the original form of payment within 7-10 days after we receive your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax, but will not include the original shipping and handling charges. Note: You will only be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturing or shipping error on our part.
