Together, Hope Blooms

Posted by Ava Kuhn on

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month has always been a time for our community to come together. We started raising funds for breast cancer research back in 1993 when we lost a dear friend and colleague, Mary Sloan, to this terrible disease that affects so many women.

Our researchers and doctors at the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, are focused on developing therapies for some of the most difficult-to-treat types of breast cancer, including triple negative breast cancer. Their progress on Monogrammed Medicine is leading to promising discoveries in the areas of diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

It is our community of donors, volunteers and customers that fund that critical, life-saving research. We thought it was fitting to pause this National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to recognize some of the huge leaps we've made TOGETHER!

We would love for you to join us! There are so many ways you can get involved in this National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
