FAQ

The Annual Outlet Sale is one of our most favorite events! The shopping. The savings. The selection. There's so much to love. But the very best part has to be YOU! We just love seeing you and can't wait to host you in our hometown.

With a one-of-a-kind event like this, we know you might have questions. We did our best to answer the ones we hear most below. If you don't see just what you're looking for, please contact our Customer Service Department.

About the Sale

  • When is the Sale?

The 2021 Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale runs Wednesday, April 14 – Sunday, April 18. The first three days (Wednesday – Friday) are for Ticketed Sessions only. The last two days (Saturday and Sunday) are open and do not require a ticket.

  • Where is the Sale?

The Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale is held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, located in our hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

  • What products will be available?

Products available at the Sale are primarily retired and overstock items. One of the best parts of the Sale is seeing what surprises are in store! You’ll be able to shop row after row of thousands of fantastic finds — handbags, travel items, accessories — all at can’t-miss prices. Sale attendees will also get to shop our yet-to-be-released new Factory Outlet Store pattern: Tropical Evening.

Registration

  • Do I have to register to attend the Annual Outlet Sale?

You need to register if you plan to make a purchase at the Sale. Please bring your registration confirmation, along with your photo ID, to the Annual Outlet Sale. You can also provide your phone number and ID during the checkout process to locate your registration.

  • Do I need to register for each day?

You only need to register once for the entire Sale, regardless of day attending.

  • What if I don’t register?

Guest Registration will be open throughout the duration of the Sale via personal mobile devices and on site with a valid photo ID.

Tickets

  • Do I have to purchase a ticket?

Tickets are required for the first three days of the Sale: Wednesday, April 14 – Friday, April 16. Tickets are NOT required for the last two days — Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 18. We do encourage shopping early for the best selection.

  • How long do I get to shop at a Ticketed Session?

Ticketed Sessions (Wednesday – Friday) are 2 hours long. We encourage everyone to shop the main floor as long as possible, but everyone must be in line for checkout in time to be completely done shopping by the time the session ends.

  • Does my child need a ticket?

Children 14 years and older will need a ticket to attend a Ticketed Session. Anyone making a purchase must provide their completed registration and photo ID.

  • What is an Early Bird ticket?

Early Bird tickets are tickets purchased through Ticketmaster February 2021 (date will be announced later!). Purchasing tickets early offers the best availability of shopping sessions and the issuance of an Early Bird coupon to be redeemed at the Sale.

  • I purchased an Early Bird ticket, how will I receive my discount at the Sale?

You should have been prompted to select your Early Bird coupon as an add-on item during the Early Bird ticket checkout process at Ticketmaster. To receive your discount at the Sale, you will need to present your coupon saved to your Ticketmaster account on your mobile device or in the form of a printed receipt sent to you by Ticketmaster in the mail, depending on your requested method of receipt delivery. There is a one coupon per ticket limit. You may be asked to show your Early Bird ticket at checkout to verify that your coupon is valid.

  • I have purchased tickets and will be unable to attend that session. Can I exchange my tickets for another session?

Please contact Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000 to request an exchange.

  • Does the Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale offer sensory-friendly shopping?

This year, we are pleased to introduce a dedicated sensory-friendly shopping session on the advisement of AWS Foundation. The session is reserved for Thursday, April 15 from 7:30 – 9:30 am. When purchasing a ticket, make sure to select "Session 1 — Sensory-Friendly Shopping" reserved for anyone preferring to shop in a quieter, more controlled setting. Note that tickets for this session will be open to the general public, however tickets sales will be limited to 1,000 shoppers down from 3,500 shoppers in a regular ticketed shopping session.

Miscellaneous

  • What steps are you taking in light of COVID-19?

We are making a few changes to the 2021 Sale to accommodate COVID considerations. We are reducing capacity during shopping sessions by 50%, and we are updating the times of each shopping session to add new sessions Wednesday – Friday from 3:30 – 5:30 pm.

  • Should I expect long lines?

While we can accommodate a few thousand people in the shopping area at a time, when we have very high volumes of people attending the Annual Outlet Sale, there might be a short wait.

  • Will the shopping area be cleared between each session?

The shopping area is cleared Wednesday through Friday in between Ticketed Sessions. Therefore, we do ask that you be in line to check out by the conclusion of your allotted session time in order to make room for the next session and allow our team time to restock merchandise.

  • Will there be a place for me to sort through all of my finds while shopping?

New this year! We will be providing an area where you can stand and sort your merchandise. Fire Code prohibits any sitting on the floor at any time. Please be prepared and wear comfortable shoes.
